Dr. Bosco Bwambale
Dr. Bosco Bwambale is a scholar in the interdisciplinary field of environmental studies. He holds a degree of Doctor of Sciences,specialty in geography/naturalResources Mgt, from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Belgium. He founded the THRIVE Development Facility to fight vulnerability among members and foster resilience through evidence-based livelihood improvement strategies among communities. As an academic, he spends most of his time on university-level research and teaching while doing an overseer role at the Facility. His research interest is oriented towards the knowledge foundation required to identify feasible strategies to build resilience to environmental and climate risks in less developed communities. As a scholar, he does special oversight of the research components. Moreover, as a founder, Bosco is charged with the task of lobbying, advocating, stirring the board as well as other relevant people, and ensuring that the vision and mission of THRIVE Development facility are met.
